Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those people who were devastated by the floods in Luzon. It is a very challenging time. Any event that disrupts the family creates such lasting memories. We are very blessed in Mindanao to have missed the heavy rains. It doesn’t stop us from feeling the sadness of so many disadvantaged people in Luzon.

Christmas will be here so quickly. If you are making special plans for family or visitors in December, we suggest that you make your bookings with our office now.
Executive Service
A new arrival in our vehicle stable is a brand new 10 seater van with executive service. These are very popular for corporations because they have more room and therefore are much more comfortable to travel long distance in. We have instituted an executive service with ice water for all the travelers when they board the van. A good safety factor is that all seats have individual seat belts. Kadayawan
A very popular attraction in Davao each August is the “Kadayawan Festival.” People come from all over the Philippines and other parts of the world to view the 9 days of splendid activities. There are performances and displays covering all aspect of arts and entertainment. If you are coming to Davao for the Kadayawan Festival, Ecotrans will be pleased to provide you with your rental requirements.

This is due to the relationships that we have established with many of our long term clients. We pride ourselves in the service that we have built up over these years. Executive Van
One of the vehicles we are very proud of is our 10- seater executive van. Because it has only 10 seats there is a lot more individual leg room. Each seat is like an airline seat with headrest and armrests. We find this is very popular with companies and foreigners with a larger body frame.
Extra Service
A service that we are offering to our clients is a bottle of cold water for every passenger when you are met by our professional driver. We know it is hot and a refreshing cold drink is always welcome. Enjoy a drink on Ecotrans.
Office Edition
Since taking over the Davao East Rotary Club Presidency we have had an edition to our office with the clubs secretary, Shela, who is running the Clubs office from the Ecotrans building.
Tips for Motoring
Parents, when your teen took on-the-road lessons, the instructor had his/her own rear view mirror. You can also get one of these at an auto supply shop They can be found in the baby section and were designed for looking at your baby in the rear seat. They work wonderfully for seeing traffic behind the car when driving with your teen.
Before driving a car, do a simple safety check. Turn on the lights and walk around the vehicle to ensure that all lights are in working order. Also check your blinkers for proper operation. Look for any fluid leaks or things hanging from the vehicle. Check that the tires are properly inflated.
When you get into the car, adjust all mirrors and seats before placing the key in the ignition. To properly adjust the left mirror place your head against the left window and adjust the mirror so that you can just see the left side of the car. For the right, move your head towards the center of the vehicle and adjust the right mirror in the same way. When you are sitting correctly in the driver's seat, you will not be able to see your vehicle, but your blind spots will be greatly reduced!
Always wear your seatbelts.
Always drive with your headlights on, a car is visible for nearly 4 times the distance with it's headlights on even during daytime hours.
When stopping at a stop sign, be sure to feel the car rock backward and spell S-T-O-P to yourself before proceeding. Always turn your head to look left, then right, straight ahead, then left again before proceeding.
